Team R.O.C.K. in Race Across America
The world’s toughest bicycle race

Dave O’Mara began cycling just six years ago.  At the time, he had no prior experience, unless you count riding his BMX bike as a child.  What Dave did was simply amazing.  With his love for Real Options for City Kids (R.O.C.K.), an organization that works tirelessly to help create physical and educational development opportunities for underprivileged kids in San Francisco, Dave decided to embark on a solo bike ride across the entire county.  In a little over six weeks, he was able to complete his journey, and in the process, raised over $60k for R.O.C.K.

Now, he is off to a more extreme challenge.  Dave has teamed up with a partner, Wes Fornes, to relay cycle NONSTOP across the entire country.  Yes, they will be making the ride from Oceanside, CA to Annapolis, MD without stopping as part of a 2-man team in Race Across America (AKA RAAM, AKA The World’s Toughest Bicycle Race).  And, they plan on finishing in less than ONE WEEK!
